Meet the Author: An Atlanta native, I earned AE degree from Southern Polytechnic Institute (Southern Tech), and a BS and an MBA from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, while working at the Medical Center full time. My first Hospital CEO position was with Hospital Affiliates International, Inc. at St Thomas Hospital in Colby, Kansas, becoming the youngest administrator in the company's system. Over the next thirty plus years, I served as CEO at other hospitals and in multi management corporate positions with large health care companies. In 1990 I founded Quality HealthCare, Inc., a company specializing in the treatment of psychiatric and addiction disorders. After selling QHI I decided to pursue another dream ... writing, while continuing to provide a limited amount of health care consulting. Righteous Kill is the first of what I hope will be a string of successful novels. My wife, Betty, and I live on St. Simons Island, Georgia with Colby, our English Springer Spaniel, and Spenser, a black Persian. Colby appears in Righteous Kill (with a name change to protect the innocent) and Spenser is patiently waiting to appear in one of my novels. Sarah James' next adventure with the working title of The Blood-Stained Bride has been completed and is now titled Blood Money! Sarah's June wedding does not go as planned and the devastated bride has a new score to settle. She partners up with Stella David, an Australian beauty, to track down a killer. New Novel: A new novel is in progress. Morgan and Stella are partners in a company that investigates corporate crime. Hired by corporate executives who suspect fraudulent or criminal activities within their organizations, Morgan and Stella conduct internal investigations to determine if the suspicions are fact or fiction. | |
